Regardless of the occasion, buying gifts for vegans can be tricky if you want to purchase something that reflects their lifestyle and doesn’t offend their sensibilities. Heck, even long-term plant-based practitioners can have a tough time choosing gifts for vegans!
The truth is, you can go as deep into this as you want. On the flip side, you can avoid the “Big V” altogether and settle for a pair of socks. Oh wait a second, even they can pose problems (wool, silk…argh!!).
So, when it comes to buying vegan gifts, what’s the best course of action? Well, a carefully curated list of the best gifts for vegans would be a good place to start, wouldn’t it?
Hello, smart cookie!
In this article, we’ve put together well over 100 different vegan gift ideas to save you the hassle of checking tags and ingredient lists. Whether you’re a non-vegan buying for someone who’s recently turned plant-based, or an old hand at the vegan lifestyle looking to buy something for a vegan partner, we’ve got you covered.
As you’ll see, we’ve split the post up into sections: Vegan beauty gifts, vegan kitchen gifts, fitness gifts for vegans, vegan travel gifts, etc. You get the idea!
If you don’t fancy scrolling through the whole thing, you can use one of the big buttons below to get you where you need to be…but, be warned, you might miss out on something fancy!
Oh, and I’ll regularly update the list, too, so you’ll be on top of what’s hot whenever you check back (hit that bookmark tab or subscribe to our newsletter, people!).
Anyway, enough of the intro. Let’s get gifting!
Vegan gifts for her
Although most of what’s included in this post could be bought for any gender, I often get asked the “For her” or “For him” question, so I thought these two sections would be a good places to start.
Naturally, if you know that the person you’re buying for is an avid foodie you might want to skip down to the vegan food gift section, but this part of the post will give you some ideas if you’re really stuck.
Vegan leather padlock shoulder/handbag
Made with PU leather, this handbag comes in 11 colors and can also be worn as a shoulder bag thanks to its removable strap.
Manufactured with a flat bottom, it’s design means it’ll stand up on its own and stand up to the rigours of daily use.
Despite being small enough to carry anywhere, it’s tardis-like interior will hold a 13″ laptop comfortably and swallow up all those other bits and bobs we all carry around every day, too.
So, if your vegan giftee has been dropping bag related hints, this is well worth checking out.
Faux leather, refillable journal
If, like me, the person you’re buying for is a journal fiend, this natty little present will make their day.
With built-in pockets and pen holders, this lined page journal is ideal for those who like to write on the go.
Not sure about the color/design? Check out the other seven available! All are made entirely from vegan leather, and all make fab gifts for anyone who likes to keep a daily journal (or simply have a small notepad handy) wherever they may be.
Cruelty-free, vegan cork wallet for women
Want to buy something a little different? How about this vegan cork wallet?
Made from, you guessed it, cork, this wallet has been designed with sustainability in mind…and no animals were harmed during the manufacturing process either. All of which make it an ideal for the vegan in your life.
The splashes of color set off the natural look (and the company are looking into making these from water based paints for an even more eco-friendly product), plus it also comes in a handy gift box which makes wrapping easier.
Add to that a year-long warranty and you have yourself a decent little vegan gift!
Vegan for Her: The Womans Guide to Being Healthy and Fit on a Plant-Based Diet
The title says it all! Give the gift of optimal health and wellness with Virginia Messina’s brilliant book: Vegan for Her: The Womans Guide to Being Healthy and Fit on a Plant-Based Diet.
With 400 pages to go through, this comprehensive guide covers everything from building strong bones through to enhancing fertility. It also has a great section about transitioning to veganism, so it’d make a fab present for anyone thinking of going plant-based (hello, Veganuary!).
So, if you want something that will give the vegan woman in your life all the tools necessary to be happy and healthy, this would be a great place to start.
CHALA Zip Around Wallet, Wristlet, with 8 Credit Card Slots
These fun little wristlets are the perfect gift for the animal lover in your life. With dozens of different designs to choose from, CHALA characters are sure to make your vegan gift recipient smile (just look at that Boston Terrier!).
Made from PU leather, these tiny wallets can still handle up to eight credit cards as well as having separate cash and zippered coin compartments.
In addition to the strong wrist strap, you’ll also get a rather charming charm on the zipper that reflects the character on the front (check out the hedgehog one!).
If you’re looking for a fun vegan gift with practical side, these wristlets fit the bill perfectly.
Vegan gifts for him
Buying gifts for vegan men can be hard work. Sure, we all know they like to steal our best bath bombs and light a scented candle when we’re not around, but would you buy them for the plant-based male in your life? Probably not.
So, what do you get the vegan gent for Christmas, birthday, thanksgiving, or any other time of year you care to splash out on?
Well, as I mentioned above, many of the vegan gifts listed in the other sections of this post may suit, but if you’re in need of something specifically for the dude, bloke, chap, hombre, fellow, geezer, or any other male synonym in your life, these might be just what you’re looking for.
Corkor Vegan Briefcase Handbag / Shoulder / Messenger Bag for Men
Thanks to laptops, messenger bags have become a staple accessory for all of us, but finding one that is sturdy enough for daily use, yet stylish enough not to be embarrassed by, is a challenge. Enter Corkor’s vegan leather bag.
This is a wonderfully well-made accessory that is spacious, good looking, and practical. Classic styling means this bag will stay in fashion for years, and the build quality ensures it’ll last long enough to put that to the test, too. It also comes in a choice of two colors: black and dark brown.
In addition to the quality, small but thoughtful touches show that this has been crafted with the end user in mind. Take the discrete strap that runs across the back of the bag, for example. This slides effortlessly over the handle of a wheelie suitcase, securing the bag and preventing it from being snatched while you face forward. Brilliant!
Covered by a full money-back guarantee, this messenger bag would make a fantastic gift for vegan men both young and old.
NERO MANETTI – Zippered Leather Padfolio / Portfolio / iPad Holder
Now, this is certainly something you could buy for a women, too, but this zippered leather “padfolio” is worthy of a place in our list of vegan gifts for men anyway.
Stylish and practical, much like the Corkor Messenger Bag above, this faux leather organizer is the ideal gift for anyone who juggles paper documents and electronic devices every day on their daily commute.
For such a compact carrier, it has a surprising amount of room for all those odds and ends you carry to and from meetings and work. Twelve (yes, 12!) interior pockets sit alongside penholders and an exterior documents pouch, which means the recipient of this gift will be able to keep everything in one place and still have a free hand to call you to say “thanks!”.
Manufactured from high quality PU leather, this essential business accessory comes with a full 30-day money-back guarantee.
Slim Vegan Leather Bi-Fold Wallets
This range of slim vegan leather bi-fold wallets are perfect for the gent who likes to keep everything in one place. Complete with 9 credit card slots, 2 slip pockets, 2 cash compartments, and an ID window for photo ID cards, this wallet still manages to keep things slim, neat, and tidy.
The high quality faux leather is soft to the touch, but extremely durable, and all of the five wallets on offer have unique styling that make them stand out from many other similar products on the market today.
Worried about security? Not if you get one of these. Each wallet has built in protection to ensure your data stays safe. These wallets comply with FIPS-201 specs, blocking high frequency RFID signals (13.56 MHz) so your credit card details are unable to be picked up by opportunist thieves scanning the area.
Presented in a gift box, these wallets also come with a full one-year warranty and the offer of a full refund if you’re not 100% happy with your purchase.
Grip6 Classic Men’s Web Belt
Speak to any gentleman who has tried to find a decent non-leather belt and they’re bound to tell you that it’s no easy task. While there are plenty of faux leather belts out there, many aren’t exactly what one would call “all-rounders”, but the Grip6 Classic Web Belt is just that.
Designed with both casual and business dress in mind, these belts are manufactured in the US to exacting standards, making them one of the best belts on the market for men of all ages.
Wearable with smart pants, shorts, or denim, these sliding belts make a fantastic gift…even if you think that giving a belt as a present is a little weird!
Trust me, your giftee will love it.
ka.loo.i Vegan Dopp Kit Canvas Men’s Toiletry Bag
Toiletry bags are notorious for being poor quality. In fact, it’s almost like most manufacturers want you to buy another one by the time next Christmas rolls around!
Not so with this canvas dopp kit from ka.loo.i
Built to last and chock full of features, these toiletry bags make the perfect vegan gift for men who travel a lot. No cheap zippers or poorly stitched seams here. Double stitched and kitted out with high quality YKK zippers, these pouches will stand up to even the roughest treatment.
Finished off with premium vegan leather and 100% waterproof, the ka.loo.i toiletry pouch also comes in a beautifully presented gift box and a portion of your purchase goes to a charity that help support blind runners and athletes, too. Excellent!
Vegan gifts for kids
Controversial in some quarters it may be, but many vegans raise their children to be compassionate humans who love and respect all beings that share this wonderful planet with us. Weirdos!
Obviously, I’m kidding (I have to add that disclaimer…this is the Internet, after all!) and I know that you’ll want to buy something suitable for that little plant-based progeny you know and love.
With that in mind, it would be remiss of me not to include a section covering vegan gifts for kids…so here goes!
My Brooklyn Vegan Sneakers (Boys and Girls)
These are pretty cute, no?
Available in a range of four different colors, these vegan sneakers from My Brooklyn are the perfect gift for the mini plant-based practitioner in your life (and their parents, as they’re durable and easy to wear).
Built with simple hook and loop closures, these shoes are quick to pop on and off, yet secure enough to stay on those swinging legs, wherever they may be. My Brooklyn’s vegan sneakers also have reinforced toes, too, so no more holes in the top of your kid’s footwear!
Despite all that, these tiny shoes are for tiny feet, so they’ve been kept lightweight and the colors are jazzy enough to satisfy even the fussiest little fashionista. Check them out!
The Help Yourself Cookbook for Kids
We all know that the easiest way to get kids interested in the food they eat is to get them into the kitchen, helping you prepare the meals you serve.
Well, with the help of The Help Yourself Cookbook for Kids by Ruby Roth, you’ll struggle to keep them out! This excellent little book has 60 simple vegan recipes to keep even the most inquisitive mind curious.
Packed out with wonderfully vibrant imagery, this 144 page book is a must have for any vegan household with little ones who want to follow in their parents plant-based footsteps.
Pick your copy up today and give the gift of healthy eating to your favorite little vegan.
Vegan Backpack For Kids
Anyone who’s seen (and fallen in love with) Genesis Butler will know that many kids these days are not only following the vegan lifestyle, they’re extremely proud and forthright about it too.
If you have one such child in your life, this vegan backpack may well be for them. For those little ones who want the world to know they care, this is the perfect gift…and it comes in a range of colors, too.
Made from high quality V-friendly materials, this bag comes with very comfortable shoulder straps and good, sturdy zippers that are smooth to use…even when you can’t wait to get to that hummus wrap mommy made earlier!
The Yummy Palette’s Vegan Kid’s Bunny Bag
Now, I know, we shouldn’t really be encouraging kids to eat sweet stuff, whether it’s vegan or not, but a little treat every now and then is no bad thing…especially when it’s as cute as this vegan bunny bag from The Yummy Palette!
This hand embroidered bag is made from 100% cotton and is so pretty there’s no real need to wrap it up (which is always a bonus, in my book!).
Inside you’ll find a selection of Mini Moo Chocolate Bars – Original, Mint, Orange, and Bunnycomb (geddit?) – as well as a couple of bags of Moo Free Chocolate Drops and some Biona Organic Vegan Mini Fruit Bears.
All in all, a lovely little present for that lovely little vegan. To be honest, I wouldn’t be too upset if someone bought it for me!
Let’s Avocuddle Vegan Baby Feeding Bib
Good bibs are wonderful things that will probably be appreciated more by the parents than the baby, but don’t let that stop you.
These cute little feed-time accessories are perfect for catching those missed spoonfuls (as well as the inevitable dribbles) and they’re easily cleaned, too. Add to that the fact that they are super soft and you have yourself a very handy product.
It’s also wide enough to cover your little ones favorite jumpsuit without feeling restrictive, so these fun bibs make a great present for any wee vegan who’s working their way up to solid food.
Food and cooking gifts for vegans
Rightly or wrongly, food is the thing most commonly associated with following a vegan lifestyle, so it stands to reason that there would be a plethora of plant-based presents out there for you to choose from when selecting vegan gifts.
While that’s true – and it’s growing with every passing day – it can still be a bit of a minefield for the uninitiated, and no one wants to make a foodie faux pas when it comes to buying vegan presents!
So, with this in mind, I’ve selected a number of items and split them in to various categories, all of which fall under the umbrella of Food and Cooking. Here you’ll find:
- Vegan foodie gifts
- Vegan kitchen gifts
- Vegan cooking gifts
- Vegan baking gifts
- Raw vegan gifts
- And, last but not least, vegan gift sets, boxes, and baskets
As you can see, many of these are interchangeable, but these subheadings make the most sense and should make the list of gifts a little easier to scan your way through…that’s the plan, anyway!
Let’s get to it!
Vegan foodie gifts
We all know someone who loves their food but, when it comes to vegan foodies, finding the right gift can be difficult. Hopefully these inexpensive items will give you some inspiration and provide your plant-based pal with a present they’ve never tried before.
Madge’s Vegan Kimchi Spicy
In case you hadn’t noticed, fermented foods are HUGE right now. As we learn more and more about our gut microbiome, so the demand for high quality pre and probiotic foods increases…and Madge’s Spicy Vegan Kimchi is up there with the very best.
Where many other traditional kimchi’s use fish sauce and/or seafood to give depth to their flavor, Madge’s has its own secret weapon: a combo of mushrooms and sea plants, and boy does it work!
With no added sugar and a spiciness that satisfies, Madge’s Vegan Kimchi is a plant-based stocking filler must-have.
Vegan Street Food: Foodie travels from India to Indonesia
Jackie Kearney’s now legendary book, Vegan Street Food: Foodie travels from India to Indonesia is an essential for any vegan foodie’s bookshelf, but it’s especially welcomed by those who like to try and replicate these age-old recipes in their own kitchen at home.
Winner of PETA’s Best Book Award, this delightful read will challenge the home cook and extend their skill set considerably, despite the simple nature of the dishes featured.
For lovers of Asian street food – whether they’re vegan or not – Vegan Street Food: Foodie travels from India to Indonesia is essential reading.
AvenueSweets Sea Salt Caramels
I know, sea salt caramels are soooo yesterday, but then again, have you tried AvenueSweets Sea Salt Caramels? If you haven’t, you’re missing out…and so is the person you’re buying the gift for (remember them?).
These dairy-free, totally vegan, coconut milk laced chewy caramels are simply amazing, and they’re packaged pretty, too. Each bundle has around 20 individually wrapped sweeties inside, so they’ll be enough to go around if you’re taking them as a hostess gift.
Best of all, these come in packs of two, so you can keep one for yourself!
Chef Series Dead Sea Gourmet Salt Set
Yep, we should all be cutting down on our sodium intake, but a canny way to do that is to buy better salt in the first place, and this Chef Series Dead Sea Gourmet Salt Set is a great gift for the vegan foodie who likes to cook at home.
These four cute little glass jars each have different flavored salt inside: orange with chili, Kalamata olive, sun-dried tomato with mint, and garlic with ginger, making them interesting for those who like to experiment with flavors.
Packaged especially to be given as a gift, this salt selection is a different idea for those looking to give a home cook something new to play with.
August Uncommon Loose Leaf Tea
With all this food about, your recipient is going to need something to wash it all down with…so why not add some August Uncommon Loose Leaf Tea to their parcel?
While coffee is very much still the darling of masses, loose leaf tea is something that garners a sage nod from those in the know, and August Uncommon Tea is great example of the good stuff. Thankfully, though, it remains surprisingly affordable – which makes it perfect for an add-on gift!
This blend, Dark Iris, features rich oolong tea with peach, pistachio, and lime. What does that taste like? Well, August describe it as a mixture of peach, crème fraîche, iris, and lime blossom. Who wouldn’t want that concoction in their lives?
All of August’s unique blends are non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan. Winning!
Want to give more than just a jar of kimchi or a few caramels? Make sure you scroll down a little further where I’ll be reviewing some of the best vegan gift sets, boxes, and baskets. Yum!
Kitchen gifts for vegans
For those who think that buying kitchen equipment for gifts is all wrong, I’m here to to tell you it’s all right! I LOVE receiving kitchen gadgets as gifts and, providing you choose wisely, I’m sure your recipient will be equally thrilled, too.
The misconception that buying kitchen gifts somehow ties someone to the stove needs to be dispelled pronto. Many people these days, myself included, cook for fun, so to receive a shiny new toy that takes your favorite hobby into account is nothing short of wonderful.
So, don’t be scared to buy that special someone a kitchen gadget if they love to cook is the message here…especially if your gift is as good as these beauties!
Cuisinart FP-14DCN Elite Collection 2.0
The Cuisinart FP-14DCN Elite Collection 2.0 came out on top in our review of the Best Food Processor For Nut Butter, but it’s so much more than that. It’s uncomplicated design and operation makes it simple to use and easy on the eye, which is important if it’s going to live on my countertop!
Equipped with a 1300 watt motor and a 14 cup bowl, the Cuisinart FP-14DCN is powerful enough to take on big tasks like kneading bread, yet delicate enough to julienne bell peppers without turning them to mush. That said, the dough blade and julienne disc are both sold separately, which is a bit of a bummer.
Another positive, however, is the inclusion of a smaller 4.5 cup bowl. This is fantastic if you just want to whip up a small portion of pesto or something similar, negating the need for a mini processor entirely.
While it’s not perfect, for the money, this is a great (or should that be grate?) food processor and something I’d be delighted to receive as a gift.
Le Creuset of America Craft Series 5 Piece Utensil Set with Crock
Bring a little color into your giftee’s kitchen with this fabulous five piece utensil set complete with crock from Le Creuset of America.
Unlike many other cheaper utensils, Le Creuset’s kitchenware is put through a rigorous testing program to ensure their safety during use, something that will be comforting for anyone who has concerns over using silicone for high-heat cooking.
The set is made up of a small and medium spatula, a spatula spoon, and a basting brush, which, believe it or not, is still a handy tool to have in the kitchen even if you’re a vegan! The fifth member is the beautiful 1 quart stoneware crock where all the color-matching utensils live and it’s finished with the traditional Le Creuset lines and typographic logo.
With nine colors to choose from, you’re sure to find one that fits with your friend’s kitchen…and they’ll love you for it!
Cuisinart CSBP-200 4-in-1 Stuffed Burger Press
I know, giving a burger press to a vegan sounds a little dicey, but bear with me here.
Most vegans know that one of the most difficult things about making a perfect plant-based patty is getting the darn thing to stay together! No problem if you’ve got the Cuisinart CSBP-200 4-in-1 Stuffed Burger Press in your kitchen drawer, though.
This 4-in-1 tool will help your vegan chum churn out bean burgers like never before in sizes ranging from slider to an enormous 4.5″ giant! You can even stuff your burgers using this thing, so tell your friend to dig out their best meltable vegan cheese when they’re putting together those patties.
Non-stick and dishwasher safe also means there’ll be no cursing your name during clean up, either. So, if you know someone who loves making meat-free burgers, this is the ideal small gift for them.
Vitamix 59326 Professional Series 750 Blender
Long regarded as top dogs in the blending world, the Vitamix 59326 Professional Series 750 Blender is a classic from their range that is, quite simply, joyous if you love whizzing up smoothies and sauces.
The blades are made from aircraft grade steel to give you some idea of the quality, and the thought that has gone into creating this blender shines through every single time you flick the switch to set it in motion. This is especially true if you’ve struggled with sub-par machines in the past and have watched them wiggle their way across the countertop at the mere sight of a frozen banana!
Tough, reliable, and extremely controllable, this is a great blender for anyone following a plant-based diet…even if the cookbook included has a few meaty dishes listed.
For a full breakdown of this 64oz self-cleaning machine, you can also check out our comprehensive Vitamix Pro 750 review before you buy.
Global 7-inch Hollow Edge Asian Chef’s Knife
The Global 7-inch Hollow Edge Asian Chef’s Knife is a thing of beauty.
Even before you make your first cut with this incredibly well engineered cutting tool, you know that you’re handling something special; it’s just so well balanced!
For vegans and vegetarians who spend a lot of time in the kitchen, a santoku knife is a must. Having the ability to chop even the hardest vegetables (hello, butternuts!) with ease is something you don’t appreciate until you’ve had a good knife in your hands, and this effort from Global is up there with the best.
However, probably the best feature of this knife is the little hollows along the side of the knife that allows air to get in between the food you are holding and the slices you’ve made. This allows those slices to fall effortlessly without sticking to the side of the blade, something that is ridiculously infuriating if you’ve got a lot of chopping to do. Sure, other knifes have these “dimples”, but few work as well as the Global.
Buy one of these for your favorite veggie foodie, and get one for yourself while you’re at it! It’s amazing.
Marcato Atlas 180 Pasta Machine
Ahh, pasta! So simple, yet so satisfying.
Despite fresh pasta being associated with eggs, you can, thankfully, make delicious dough without them and keep things vegan. Hooray! What you do need, though, is a good pasta machine, and the Marcato Atlas 180 is just that.
This contraption will churn out tagliolini, lasagne, and fettuccine to professional standards as you have full control over the thickness, which ranges from an almost see-through 0.6mm (0.024″!) to a hearty 4.8mm (0.19″).
The results you get from the gadget are consistent, too, which is essential when cook time rolls around. It’s also surprisingly easy to clean despite its intricate (and beautifully cool) looks.
If you know someone who’s serious about being in the kitchen, this would make a very special vegan gift indeed.
Cuisinart HM-90BCS Power Advantage Plus
Handy for anyone who isn’t lucky enough to own a full size stand mixer, the Cuisinart HM-90BCS Power Advantage Plus 9-Speed Handheld Mixer with Storage Case (phew, what a name!) is a great little kitchen tool that covers a multitude of tasks over and above whisking.
The gadget comes with dough hooks, beaters, whisk attachments, and an all important spatula for getting the last morsels from your bowl once you’ve done your whizzing, all of which can be stored in the useful case that clips onto the bottom of the appliance.
The 9-speed, 220 watt motor is more than enough for most jobs and its space-saving nature makes this a great little gift for apartment dwellers who haven’t got the room for a full-blown mixer at home.
Perhaps the nicest thing about the Cuisinart HM-90BCS (apart from its glorious retro look) is the control it gives you when dealing with thin batters or the early stages of a mix. Thanks to the automatic feedback mechanism and its SmoothStart feature, the days of splattered worktops, walls, and units are a thing of the past.
It’s a great bit of kit for the money.
OXO Good Grips Easy Clean Compost Bin
Now, don’t get me wrong, I know this is a strange gift, but it’s one that many of us eco-friendly freaks would appreciate…especially those of us who like to keep our kitchens just so.
The problem with most kitchen compost bins is that they’re plain ugly. Therefore, they get hidden away, and that means they get forgotten about and not used. Not so with the OXO Good Grips Easy Clean Compost Bin. This is just about the cutest composter on the block, and that means I’m happy to have him on my countertop right where I need him.
OXO really have nailed it in terms of design. The completely smooth interior makes it not only easy to empty, but easy to clean as well. Oh, and the lid comes off easily, too, which makes a huge difference when washing by hand (but it is dishwasher safe, in case you were wondering).
If you know someone who composts and likes the minimalist look in the kitchen, this would make a fun gift for them.
Whynter ICM-201SB 2.1 Quart Upright Ice Cream Maker
Know someone who simply can’t go to the store without picking up a pint of plant-based ice cream? Well, here’s the perfect present for that frozen dessert fiend – the Whynter ICM-201SB 2.1 Quart Upright Ice Cream Maker!
Winner overall in our Best Ice Cream Maker reviews, this is a boon for vegans who love that brain freeze feeling as well as getting creative in the kitchen.
What’s so good about the Whynter? Well, for starters, it uses a CFC-free compressor to create its luxurious results, and that means no more having to put a cumbersome bowl in the freezer 24-hours before you actually want your ice cream.
Nope, this bad boy will churn (geddit?) out some of the creamiest dairy-free ice cream in just under an hour, which may actually be a bad thing if the person you’re giving this to has very little self-restraint!
Although the dairy-free options are expanding in stores every day, with this toy your vegan chum will be able to concoct their own mixes and perfect their flavor combinations right at home.
This is made simple thanks the very handy “pause” button, which will allow them to stop the cycle at the right moment to add fruits, syrups, chocolate, caramel, or just about anything else that takes their fancy.
You never know your luck. You might just get a tub of the best dairy-free dessert you’ve ever tasted if you give the gift of this cool machine!
Rösle Stainless Steel 9-inch Mincing Garlic / Ginger Press with Scraper
Anyone who’s spent a little while in the kitchen will tell you that peeling garlic is one of the worst jobs you have to deal with. To add insult to injury, not all garlic presses are created equal, and a gadget that’s supposed to save you time can end up making a frustrating job infuriating.
Thankfully, the Rösle Stainless Steel 9-inch Mincing Garlic Press isn’t one of those presses. This, my friends, is a game changer for anyone who loves garlic but hates preparing it.
Unlike other presses that either don’t work at all or are so hard to clean they take longer to use than the old-fashioned bash-and-chop method, the Rösle press is a dream, and it comes with a lifetime warranty, too.
Dishwasher safe stainless steel means the press is strong enough to get the job done and allows no transference of odors should you wish to alternate between ginger and garlic, which is a bonus when a recipe calls for one without the other. Even if you intend to wash by hand, this press is simple to clean. Just swing out the mincing unit and rinse under running water. That’s it!
If you’re looking for a vegan stocking filler or a small gift at any time of the year for the cook in your life, this natty little kitchen gadget will be gratefully received.
Vegan cooking gifts
So, now we’ve covered a few kitchen items that will help your vegan friend prepare their food, what about the actual cooking of it? What could you possibly buy that would make this part of the process easier, more interesting, or simply more fun?
Quite a bit, actually.
Contrary to popular belief, we vegans aren’t plant-based because we love making our lives difficult. We love making things easy, enjoyable, and engaging, too!
So, with this in mind, many of what you’ll see below will be suitable for both vegans and non-vegans alike…but that doesn’t make them any less worthy of a place in this monster list of vegan gifts!
Let’s see what we’ve got, shall we?
Instant Pot DUO80
The Instant Pot has taken the world by storm since it launched way back in October 2010 and this incarnation, the Instant Pot DUO80, is getting rave reviews from all quarters…including the vegan community.
While you’d be forgiven for thinking this multi-purpose cooker is more suited to those with meat in mind, the Instant Pot DUO80 is actually a really good addition to any plant-based kitchen and there are dozens (if not hundreds) of vegan recipes online to ensure your vegan buddy gets the most out of their new present. There are even designated cookbooks to go with it, such as The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook for Your Instant Pot, Vegan Under Pressure, and Vegan Instant Pot Cookbook.
What makes the Instant Pot DUO80 so good is the convenience it brings to cooking. So, if the person you’re buying for leads a busy life, they’re going to love this gift more than any other. And, with three sizes to choose from, there’s one for every type of household: from large families to singletons. Perfect!
I Am Still A Vegan Cooking Apron
Looking for a quirky, inexpensive present to give your favorite vegan? Look no further!
This fun gift will be sure to get a few knowing nods from any plant-based practitioner you hand it to, and it looks pretty good, too.
Machine washable at 30° and a good size that’ll keep the recipient clean while they cook, this cook’s apron is great way to acknowledge your friend or partner’s choice of lifestyle.
Go get them one!
COSORI Air Fryer XL
We all know we should cut down on our oil intake, but actually doing it can prove to be a problem for many.
Enter the COSORI Air Fryer XL. This neat little machine is perfect for those who still want fries in their life, but without the associated health problems. Like the Instant Pot above, vegans can use the COSORI Air Fryer XL for surprising number of different uses. Think falafels, onion rings, crispy tofu, kale chips…the list goes on.
Not only does this air fryer use much less oil than a conventional fryer (as much as 70% less), it’ll also bake, roast, and grill thanks to the eight presets that are built right in. Naturally, you can also adjust the time and temperature manually to suit your needs, but the presets take a lot of the guesswork out of cooking and will get your giftee started on their air fryer journey.
The COSORI Air Fryer XL is super easy to clean and simple to use. It’s also a good size (5.8 qt) and pretty smart looking as well. On top of all that, you get a year’s warranty, which can be doubled to two years if you complete a short questionnaire on the Cosori website.
The Oh She Glows Cookbook
Angela Liddon is a bit of superstar amongst the HHV family, and the whole vegan community for that matter! Her website is an essential bookmark for anyone following a plant-based diet and The Oh She Glows Cookbook lives up to the fabulous reputation she has built over the years.
Without doubt, Angela is one of the most innovative vegan recipe creators out there and this book brings the reader a colorful 336 pages of joy, packing in over 100 exciting recipes from breakfast through to desserts.
If your vegan friend hasn’t already got this on their shelf, they’re missing out. Fill that gap for them by buying a copy of this wonderful cookbook today.
Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 7-1/4-Quart Round French (Dutch) Oven
I love Le Creuset. All of their items are of such high quality and there’s something about the simplicity of their traditional design that makes me feel happy whenever I see a product of theirs. The fact that they’ve recently upped their color game has tipped me over the edge and made me a bona fide fan girl, hence the inclusion of this magnificent cast iron French/Dutch oven.
Although great for vegan casseroles, stews, and soups, I also use mine for baking bread. Yep, the steam trapped inside this bad boy gives me a reliable crust on my sourdough every single time. I couldn’t be without it.
Suitable for use on every heat source, including induction and even an outdoor grill, this hardy piece of cookware will last a lifetime if treated correctly. It’s also dishwasher safe and, as mentioned above, comes in an array of beautiful colors for you to choose from. Go check them out ?
Hot for Food Vegan Comfort Classics
Time for another cookbook, this time it’s the turn of the excellent Hot for Food Vegan Comfort Classics: 101 Recipes to Feed Your Face.
As the name suggests, this collection of over 100 recipes is all about the good stuff: comfort food. Jam packed with delights that range from (vegan) chicken pot pie soup through to the incredibly delicious cinnamon rolls, this book is a must-have for anyone looking to get more from the plants they eat.
Author Lauren Toyota will change the way you look at plant-based cooking and will also show you that vegans can be funny, too. Who’d have thought!?
Like Angela’s book above, this is an essential gift if it’s not already on the shelf of your very lucky friend.
Protesting Vegans: Laser Engraved Custom Bamboo Cutting Board
One word: hilarious! Oh, and rather cute, too.
Any vegan with sense of humor will appreciate unwrapping this gift, whether that be at Christmas, Thanksgiving, or for a birthday; it’s just so cool.
Thankfully, it also stacks up in the practical stakes as well. Who doesn’t need another chopping board in their life? It could possibly do with being a little bit longer, but it will serve the purpose of making your giftee smile, that’s for sure.
What are you waiting for? Get yours here. Chop, chop!
Cuisinart FCT-13 French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless 13-Piece Cookware Set
If someone you love keeps dropping hints about the quality of their cookware, then the Cuisinart FCT-13 French Classic Tri-Ply Stainless 13-Piece Cookware Set could be just the ticket.
Made from the highest quality, professional tri-ply stainless steel, this is a cookware set made for a lifetime. Compatible with induction stove tops, as well as being oven and freezer safe, this is premium present that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
Probably the nicest thing about this set is the uniformity of the heat transference you get when using any of the pots and pans, which is especially appreciated when cooking delicate sauces and such.
Riveted, stay cool handles are embossed with the famous Cuisinart logo and look as smart as any piece of cookware I’ve seen.
Ideal for a wedding gift, or a special Christmas present for someone who appreciates good quality cookware, the Cuisinart FCT-13 Set is pure French perfection.
ULU Factory Blade, Block, and Bowl Set
Buying gifts can be hard work if you’re looking for something a little different – everything either looks the same or is so widely in circulation you’ll be in fear of purchasing something the person you’re giving to already owns. Not so with the ULU Factory Blade, Block, and Bowl Set.
Well, it’s unlikely, anyway!
This set is the perfect gift for vegans who cook, and it’s handcrafted nature ensures that you’ll be giving something a bit out of the ordinary. Beautifully finished Alaskan Birch is complemented with a high quality stainless steel curved blade that makes chopping a cinch, especially for fiddly, tough items like herbs.
So, if you’re tired of buying the same old socks or soaps, check out this gift set for the cook who has everything.
Minimalist Baker’s Everyday Cooking
Anyone who’s followed Happy Happy Vegan will tell you just how much I love Dana Shultz…even if she makes keeping my weight respectable difficult with her deliciousness!
In this book, Minimalist Baker’s Everyday Cooking: 101 Entirely Plant-based, Mostly Gluten-Free, Easy and Delicious Recipes, Dana shares some absolute gems, all of which conform to her minimalist mantra of 10 ingredients or less, 1 bowl or 1 pot, or 30 minutes or less. Recipes simply have never been easier.
Another thing to fall in love with is the imagery in this book. My, oh my does it look good!
Get this book for anyone interested in simple, yet divine, plant-based food. They’ll love you for it.
Iittala Cookware Sarpaneva Cast Iron Casserole 3Qt
If design is as important as functionality to the person you’re buying for, how about this absolutely stunning casserole from Iittala?
Designed by Timo Sarpaneva, one of the greatest Finnish designers ever to have lived, this is as much a work of art as it is a practical piece of cookware.
Too beautiful for the cupboard, this is the ideal gift for anyone who loves the Scandi/Nordic look in their home.
Thankfully, it also performs masterfully as a piece of cookware, too.
Raw vegan gifts
Buying gifts for vegans is one thing, but what about if the person you’re buying for falls into the subset “raw vegans”?
Well, obviously, a lot of the cookware above is out! So, what do you buy? An apple tree, maybe?
No need to worry, there’s lots of options out there. Raw veganism is growing as fast as general plant-based eating, so there’s a market for businesses to latch on to, which is good news if you’re looking to buy for a fickle fruitarian!
So, without further ado, let’s look at some gifts for raw vegans.
Trellis + Co. Stainless Steel Sprouting Kit
Sprouts are big news in the nutrition world and raw vegans especially are enamoured with their protein-rich goodness. Unfortunately, however, buying sprouts on a regular basis is an expensive business, but there’s a solution: grown your own! This is where the Complete Home Kitchen Sprouting System from Trellis + Co. comes in.
This fab system provides you (or, should I say, your giftee) with everything you need to start sprouting. This pack in particular comes with 2 x Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Rings; 2 x Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Curved Strainer Screens; 2 x Sprouting Stands; Gift Box; and Free Downloadable Sprouting Guide.
This is a premium sprouting kit (no plastic) that will stand the test of time and give your recipient a lifetime of delicious, nutritious sprouts to enjoy (you’ll obviously need to buy more seeds, like these, but you know what I mean ?).
Rawsome Vegan Baking
Wait…what? Raw vegan baking? How on earth is that possible? Well, you’ll have to buy Rawsome Vegan Baking: An Un-cookbook for Raw, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Beautiful and Sinfully Sweet Cookies, Cakes, Bars & Cupcakes for a friend and sneak a peek to find out!
Seriously, though, this “cookbook” gift is perfect for vegans who decide to eat raw food but still want to treat themselves every once in a while to delicious delights such as Go Nuts Donuts and Carrot Cake with Cashew Cream Cheese Frosting.
The book’s author, Emily von Euw has created a classic…and this needs to be on your raw vegan gift list for sure.
Excalibur 3926TB 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator
Know someone who wants to take their rawness to the next level? Or maybe someone you love simply wants to bring a little variation into the kitchen with homemade dried foods? Either way, the Excalibur 3926TB 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator is up there with the very best ways to dry and preserve nuts, fruits and veggies. You can even speed up the proving process of bread in this thing!
With a large 7″ fan circulating air regulated by an adjustable thermostat, the Excalibur 3926TB has the ability to keep the temperature below 118 °F (the benchmark for raw vegans) without increasing the processing time too much.
The timer extends to 26 hours, more than enough for our needs, and food does not need to be rotated whilst drying, making this a true set-and-forget dehydrator. Unbelievably, this relatively compact machine will dehydrate 15 square feet of food! That’s a lot, in case you were wondering ?
If you’re looking to give a special gift this Christmas, birthday, or whenever, the Excalibur 3926TB 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator is certainly worthy of your consideration.
The Fully Raw Diet: 21 Days to Better Health
Now, this book from Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram may not suit those who have been living a raw vegan lifestyle for a while, but if you know someone with an interest in veganism or maybe they’ve expressed a desire to go raw without knowing where to start, this would make a great gift.
Kristina has not only included numerous delicious raw recipes in her book, she’s also laid them out alongside handy meal plans, too. The book even covers exercise regimens to ensure whoever reads it truly has the best chance possible to kickstart their health.
Anyone who knows Kristina’s YouTube channel will tell you she’s very bright and her book reflects that. It’s a really well put together piece of work and it would be on my gift list whether it had a raw section or not. Check it out!
Spiralizer 5-Blade Vegetable Slicer
At the time of writing, this incredible little kitchen gadget has just short of 10,000 reviews on Amazon and it was our pick of the best vegetable slicers when we reviewed a number of them a short while ago.
Simple to use, yet highly effective, this machine is the business. If you’re stuck for something to buy anyone, not just raw vegans, I’d recommend this product. It’s great.
As the name suggests, it comes complete with five different blades to give you the exact cut you need and, despite the plastic, it’s strong. Carrots, potatoes, no problem.
Veggies have never been so much fun!
Eat Raw, Eat Well
Another book, this time it’s Douglas McNish’s Eat Raw, Eat Well.
Douglas walks the talk and has followed a raw diet for a number of years, losing around 100 pounds in the process! A whopping 384 pages long, this raw food recipe book has over 400 different things to try and it’s suitable for both newcomers to the lifestyle and veterans alike.
This book educates as much as it entertains and it deserves a place on any vegans’ bookshelf – raw or not.
Worth buying for the Almond Mock Tuna Paté alone, go get a copy for someone now.
Ellie’s Best Professional Grade Large Nut Milk Bag
Another stocking filler type gift, the Ellie’s Best Professional Grade Large Nut Milk Bag is, despite its name, a bag with many uses. Perfect for straining just about anything – including those sprouts at the top of this raw vegan gift list – it’s strong, durable, and easy to clean.
What makes this a better option than some of the other nut milk bags out there, though, is its rounded corners. Not only does this provide a natural funnel for the contents, it also makes the bag easier to empty once straining has completed. It really does work exceptionally well.
So, if you know someone who’s in need of a nut bag, this is the one for them. Even if it is a bit of a weird thing to give as a gift!
Gifts for vegan bakers
Vegan baking has exploded over the last few years, transforming itself from a world of flat, tasteless cakes to creations that leave even the most avid egg and dairy fan scratching their heads, wondering how such delights can be put together without the aid of animal products. Once again, the Internet has been a key driver, and the world of “free-from” baked goods is now a reality in homes as well as on the supermarket shelves.
With this growing interest in home baking amongst vegans, surely there’s a market for vegan baking gifts? Well, there are certainly dozens of things you can buy for someone who enjoys rustling up plant-based breads and cakes but, in truth, these items are pretty similar to those you would buy a traditional home baker. Eschewing eggs and dairy does not mean you need an entirely different rolling pin!
That said, it’s still lovely to buy something special for someone you care about, knowing they’ll use it for years to come and that it’ll add to the joy they get from pursuing their favorite pastime. So, with this in mind, I thought I’d put together some of the best gifts for bakers…period (with one or two specifically plant-based options thrown in as well).
Everything in this list has been chosen for its quality, so you can rest easy knowing that your gift will be up to snuff. Hopefully, this curation of vegan baking gifts will save you a little research time…and earn you a few Brownie points, too!
Modern Vegan Baking
First up on our list of vegan baking gifts is the wonderful Modern Vegan Baking: The Ultimate Resource for Sweet and Savory Baked Goods by Gretchen Price. This book is a must for anyone who takes their baking seriously, whether they’re vegan or not!
Gretchen knows her stuff, and with over 20 years of professional baking experience behind her this should come as no surprise. Her book is full of completely achievable baked wonders that’ll improve your skills as a baker and as a cook generally.
Simple instructions complement the wonderful photography throughout, and the complete guide to vegan baking substitutions will be referred back to time after time, making this a resource that every vegan baker should have on their bookshelf.
Professional French Stainless Steel Rolling Pin for Baking
Well, I did mention a rolling pin earlier…and here’s my number one pick!
This pro series French stainless steel rolling pin is great for a multitude of tasks and is such a delight to use you’ll find yourself (or, should I say, your giftee) reaching for it when you’d ordinarily make do with your hands (think pizza bases and cookie dough, especially).
Perfectly weighted and totally affordable, this rolling pin is a winner for pastry as its stainless steel construction means it can be chilled prior to use, which helps turn a painful job into a pleasure. Not only that, the use of this material makes clean up time a dream. No more bits stuck to wood and uneven drying!
At just short of 16″, it’s also the ideal length to roll out a good sheet without becoming uncomfortable to use. All in all, this rolling pin should be in every bakers’ drawer.
Top Professional Pastry Cutter with Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Blades
While those with food processors will be left scratching their heads, those without will welcome the gift of this stainless steel professional pastry cutter to their home baking arsenal. Sturdily made and comfortable to use, providing your hands aren’t too big, this tool is an excellent alternative to the old fashioned method of blending pastry with knives.
While vegan or plant-based butters will generally be softer than traditional cow’s milk butter, a good dough blender is a handy piece of kit to have in the kitchen anyway. In fact, it can even be used as a mini-masher, perfect for baby food.
Unlike many other dough blenders, this one from Spring Chef is solid in construction and will not bend when you exert force on it. The only downside is, as stated above, the handle size may be a little too small for some people’s hands. Other than that, this would make a great add-on gift for the vegan baker in your life.
Bellemain Stainless Steel 3 Cup Flour Sifter
Now, I fully realise that flour can be effectively sprinkled across a countertop by hand prior to getting that stainless steel rolling pin out, but if you’re buying a gift, it’s always nice to give the recipient something a little self-indulgent. Something useful, but not necessarily necessary…if you know what I mean?!
The Bellemain Stainless Steel 3 Cup Flour Sifter falls nicely into this category. Sure, you can do without one, but once you’ve used one you’ll wonder why you did! Oh, and it’s a pretty beautiful thing to behold, too.
Built traditionally with a hand crank rather than the more modern squeeze sifters out there, this model is made with the true baker in mind. Designed to be used repeatedly and manufactured to last a lifetime, the Bellemain Stainless Steel 3 Cup Flour Sifter is a great gift for any vegan baker you may know.
73 Piece Cake Decorating Supplies Kit for Beginners
Know someone who’s just getting into the world of baking? Why not kit them out with this fab cake decorating kit?
Complete with pretty much everything your recipient will need to get started, this kit is both good quality and extremely easy to use thanks to the numbered tips and pattern chart included with the pack. No need for guesswork, just match up the tip to the style you’re looking to achieve and away you go!
As you’d imagine with any kit that includes a whopping 73 pieces, there’s no shortage of accessories. The difference here is that all of them are useful and the downloadable eBook gives the user a handy step-by-step guide to creating the perfect decoration for any occasion.
The kit also comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee…and the chance of receiving a delicious and beautifully decorated cake as a thank you!
Rachael Ray Cucina Nonstick Bakeware 10-Piece Set
Unlike some other celebrity chef endorsements, this range of nonstick bakeware from Rachael Ray is high quality and built to last…making it ideal to give as a wedding gift or even as a birthday or Christmas present to the baker in your life.
Truly non stick and easy to handle thanks to the silicone grips, Rachael Ray seems to have put her name to a winning set here. Included in the set are: two 9″ round pans, 9″ square pan, two 10″ x 15″ cookie sheets, 2-piece loaf tin, 12-Cup muffin pan, and a 9″ x 13″ covered rectangle pan, which should cover every eventuality for most bakers out there.
Oven safe to 450°F and completely dishwasher safe, too, this set is well worth considering if you’re looking for a practical gift for a vegan baker.
OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Food Scale with Pull-Out Display
Scales are scales, right? Wrong!
If the person you’re buying for is constantly complaining of things going wrong with their baking efforts it could well be because of inaccurate measurements…which is where the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Food Scale with Pull-Out Display comes in!
This piece of kit puts precision at your fingertips and removes any guesswork from your baking. Best of all, its screen is easy to read and can be seen in even the darkest kitchen thanks to the optional backlight feature.
Battery operated, this natty set of scales is cordless and hassle-free, making it a great gift idea for any baker, vegan or not.
Lodge L8DD3 Cast Iron Double Dutch Oven, 5-Quart
If the vegan baker you’re buying for is a keen bread maker, this could be the perfect present for them.
The Lodge L8DD3 Cast Iron Double Dutch Oven is a 5 quart pot and lid set that’s perfect for those crusty sourdough loaves so coveted by hipsters across the globe (and the rest of us, truth be told!). The good thing about this gift is that it’s multifunctional, though.
You see, Dutch ovens are great for a number of different dishes. While they are commonly used by meat eaters to slow cook tough cuts, they’re also ideal for vegans who want to rustle up a veggie stew or casserole, a pasta bake, soup, or even couscous. Yep, the good ol’ Dutch oven can do it all.
Unlike the Le Creuset offering above, the Lodge version of this classic piece of cookware is a more industrial looking piece of kit, but it does a fine job with all of the above recipes thanks to the quality cast iron used by this family-owned company.
If you buy one of these as a present, the person receiving it can expect it to last a lifetime, which makes it a very special gift indeed.
Banneton / Brotform Bread Proofing Basket Set
Another one for the bread baker, this bread proofing basket set is made with natural materials that can be used for all manner of loaves: from sourdough to beer bread and also includes a few handy tools in the shape of a silicone dough scraper and brush, and a bread fork, too.
While these accessories are undoubtedly handy, it’s the bannetons and liners that you’re really buying, and these stack up super well against the competition. Made from sturdy rattan cane, the baskets are well made and will last a good long while if looked after, while the liners are easy to put on and have decent quality elastic around the edges…an area most bannetons could do better at.
All in all, if you have a bread lover you want to treat, this is a nice gift to give.
Vegan gift baskets, boxes, and sets
So, what’s left on the list of vegan gifts for foodies? A whole bunch of plant-based boxes, baskets, and gift sets that are jam-packed with vegan goodies, that’s what!
To be honest, I’ve always quite liked putting together my own vegan gift baskets over the years. It shows a little thought and effort has gone into the present, rather than just a last minute purchase on Christmas Eve or something picked up on the way to a birthday party. These days, however, preprepared vegan gift baskets are so well put together and such great value that it’s kind of put me out of business!
The one area they lack is the actual basket itself, which often leave a lot to be desired. You might want to pick up a fancier version and transfer the goods across if you want things to look just so, but some of these bundles come complete with an attractive carrier, too, which will save you both in time and additional expense.
It’s the contents that matter most, though, right? And that’s where all of these shine. Each box, basket, or set has some amazing items in them, including a few hard to find gems that will take even the most avid vegan foodie by surprise.
So, if you’re stuck for a vegan gift but know they love their food, one of these delicious food gift sets is a safe bet.
Deluxe Vegan Certified Protein Snacks Box
Know someone who works out a lot and lives a plant-based lifestyle? Or, maybe you fancy cracking the oldest joke in the vegan book and say you’re concerned about your recipient’s protein levels? Either way, this deluxe vegan certified protein snacks box is a great gift for you to give.
Put together by Bunny James, this 30 pack box is full of so many treats it’ll make your head spin. There’s everything in here, from vegan cookies through to meatless jerky, all of which have been handpicked to ensure that this gift box is full of only the good stuff.
Not only would this gift box be ideal for birthdays, Christmas, or any holiday you care to give gifts for, it’ll also make a fantastic care package for those who are far from home, too.
Oh! Nuts Holiday Nut and Dried Fruit Gift Basket
If a box of packaged processed snacks isn’t going to cut it for your vegan chum, why not give this holiday nut and dried fruit gift basket from Oh! Nuts?
Full of deliciously healthy(ish) dried fruits and nuts and presented in a sweet box, this set is ideal for anyone who’s looking to give a slightly different gift to their plant-based pal.
Put together in the USA, this box has a great selection with everything from kiwi and pineapple, through to apple and pear represented alongside moreish pistachios and premium almonds to present a colorful gift that can be enjoyed by everyone.
One thing to bear in mind, though, is that three of the fruits (papaya, kiwi, and pineapple) do contain added sugar, so if you’re buying for someone who’s following a sugar-free diet, you might want to look elsewhere.
The Good Grocer’s Healthy Vegan Care Package
Touted as a vegan care package, this set would undoubtedly be welcomed as a Christmas gift or birthday present by any plant-based practitioner who succumbs to the occasional snack attack.
Slightly smaller in pack size that the protein box above, The Good Grocer’s Healthy Vegan Care Package still contains 20 individually wrapped snacks that range from broad bean crisps through to a raspberry and coconut oatmeal fruit squeeze, giving the box a level of variety that’ll be welcomed by your giftee.
Certified vegan and packaged in The Good Grocer’s branded, yet attractive, cardboard box, this gift package is one to consider if you’re looking to buy something a little bit different for your plant-based loved one.
Vegan Delights Gift Basket
For those of you who are looking more for a hamper-type present with a plant-based twist, the Vegan Delights Gift Basket by iGourmet could prove to be just the ticket.
Beautifully presented in a snazzy whicker hamper, this vegan gift basket has some great bits and bobs hidden away inside, including Tunisian hand rolled couscous, organic Hunza triple berry granola, Fleur de Sel pistachios, and Incan red organic quinoa, which makes this particular gift set a little different from some of the other baskets on offer.
Best of all, the sturdy wooden chest can be reused for picnics or days away, making this a gift that truly does keep on giving.
Vegan Food Gift Basket
This vegan gift basket from Well Baskets is another offering that shies away from some of the more commonly found items to offer up a few different products that will excite and delight anyone who receives it.
While some will undoubtedly be familiar with a few of the products listed in this vegan gift basket, the majority of recipients will be opening up packages of deliciousness that they haven’t tried before, which is a good thing when they’re this tasty!
Both sweet and savory angles are covered here, so if you’re looking for one or the other this may not be for you. For those who are looking for a range of different items presented in a handsome fashion, though, this vegan gift basket is for you.
Large Vegan Cookie Gift Basket
On the subject of choosing between sweet, savory, or both, it’s clear which camp this bad boy falls into!
Sun Flour Baking Company’s Large Vegan Cookie Gift Basket is definitely one for those with a sweet tooth, but not necessarily in the way that you might think. You see, not only are these delicious cookies 100% natural and vegan, they also contain zero refined sugars, too…and that can only be a good thing, right?
Also free from GMOs and hydrogenated oils, this cookie basket is a smart choice for anyone who can’t resist a sweet treat in the afternoon, yet appreciates the fact that refined sugars are a no-no.
A good selection of flavors (including cinnamon twist, lemony lemon, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, and fudge brownie) means that there’ll be plenty of variety for whoever is lucky enough to receive this gift, whether that be at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other time of the year.
The Gnawty Vegan Snack Box
Another vegan snack box, this time around it’s the turn of The Gnawty Vegan – a company that have put together this box of 22 vegan goodies.
They guarantee their boxes are full of the best vegan snacks money can buy, but we did spot one item that listed honey as an ingredient, which is a bit weird and not great if you’re giving yours to anyone who likes to follow the vegan lifestyle properly and to the letter (see our article on Is Honey Vegan Or Not? for more information on this somewhat controversial subject).
That being said, we here at HHV are fully aware that many of our readers are not quite as strict as we are about our food and lifestyle choices, so we thought we’d give this box a mention. Just be sure that you know the person you’re buying for won’t be offended by receiving a product with the golden stuff in it before purchasing.
Vegan Northwest Gift Box
If you’re looking to niche down in terms of where your gift comes from, then this vegan gift box made up entirely of items sourced in the Northwest may well be just what you’re looking for.
Everything in this box has been made in either Washington State or Oregon, giving your recipient a true taste of the Northwest, regardless of where you are in the country.
One thing I really like about this particular vegan gift box is the fact that Accents et cetera, the guys behind this package, offer a personalised message service with each box, handwritten on a card that’ll be placed inside your box. How cool is that? And why doesn’t anyone else offer this small, yet priceless service? C’mon all you vegan gift box sellers, get with it!
Gluten-Free and Vegan Gift Box
Another offering from The Good Grocer is their gluten-free and vegan gift box.
As the name suggests, this particular version of The Good Grocer’s famous care packages is not only free from animal products, it’s also entirely gluten-free, which makes it perfect for those with Coeliac disease or gluten intolerances.
With 28 individually wrapped vegan goodies inside, this gift box is slightly bigger than the one above, so you get a little more to give. I’d also say that the selection is a bit better with this box, even if it does contain Planter’s Peanuts, which seems a little bit boring, if I’m being totally honest.
That aside, this box will doubtless be warmly received by all who are lucky enough to have it bought for them.
Vegan Delicious Gift Box
The last vegan gift box on our list is this offering from Fanciful Gift Baskets and it’s one that is packed with some of the best vegan treats out there, including the aforementioned AvenueSweets Coconut Milk Sea Salt Caramels ?
According to the good people over at Fanciful Gift Baskets, everything within this particular gift basket is tested on non-vegans to prove it’s deliciousness. We’re not sure why plant-based practitioners can’t be trusted to tell them whether their curation of vegan goodies is tasty or not, but that’s by the by if it gets more people to buy a gift like this for the number one vegan in their life.
Jokes aside, the selection of products in this basket is more than decent and well worth splashing out on if you’re looking for a convenient way to buy a number of items for one very special person.
Bath and beauty gifts for vegans
Cliché? Maybe, but buying perfumes, body lotions, bath bombs, and the like needn’t be boring. And besides, who doesn’t want to look and smell good?
Personally, I think the bad vibes surrounding giving beauty and bath gifts comes more from a lack of imagination and forethought than anything else.
Although I’ve got no way of knowing what your recipient’s personal preferences are, I’ve tried to compile a list of products that will inspire and excite. And, if you’re shopping without knowing for certain what your lucky giftee would like, any of these items would be gratefully received, as they’re all winners.
Below you’ll find the following sections:
If you can, try and take the time to find out what your recipient likes in terms of scents, products, brands, etc. If you do, then buying “smellies”, as they are often referred to in the UK, can be an even bigger hit.
Once you know a bit more about what they like, you can narrow down what is now a huge market and find something they’re guaranteed to love. Remember, no one wants to receive something they’ll never use! Take a bit of time to consider what they’d really like and you won’t go far wrong.
Finally, the other misconception surrounding beauty gifts is that they’re expensive, but that’s simply not the case…well, not always! Sure, you can spend a fortune on this stuff, but you really don’t need to. While you’ll obviously want to ensure your present is of good quality, you certainly don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a good gift for someone.
With all that out of the way, let’s get to the list!
Vegan bath gifts
Showers are great for those pre-work early mornings when time in bed is more important than anything else, but they’ll never beat a bath.
When it comes to relaxation, luxuriating in hot water is hard to beat…but the experience can be enhanced!.This vegan gift list is full of things that’ll help your giftee make the most of their time in the tub, and it’ll put you to the top of their favorite people chart, too!
Bougie Bath’s Handmade Spa Bath Gift Set
This beautiful bath set from Bougie Bath makes a wonderful gift for anyone who likes to put aside an hour (or two!) for some tub time.
Comprising of three sets, each has a bath bomb and soy candle that complement each other wonderfully, as well as natural cellulose facial sponge to ensure a deep cleanse without irritation.
Made in the USA from high quality ingredients that are both vegan and cruelty-free, this set comes packaged in a really sweet box that is easy to wrap and a joy to receive.
Regardless of whether you’re looking for a Christmas present, a Valentines gift, or a little something for your mom on Mother’s Day, this box of goodness is a great gift to give.
Set of 6 Bath Bombs from Rejuvelle
The first of our vegan bath bomb sets comes from US company Rejuvelle, and it’s sure to go down well with whoever receives it.
The box contains six different “flavors” that Rejuvelle refer to as “experiences” and every one of them is glorious (Detox and Energize, especially). Unlike many other bath bombs out there, these actually do moisturize and soften the skin, leaving your body feeling hydrated and healthy.
Each of the bath bombs is made from natural, organic ingredients and the scents used are strong enough to fill the room without being too overpowering and sickly. Basically, just the right amount.
Rejuvelle don’t use color dye in their bath bombs, either, so there’s little to no sign of their use once the bathtub drains, which is fantastic. Let’s face it, who wants to be scrubbing the tub straight after a long, relaxing soak?!
The only bad thing about this set is that there’s only 6 bombs to enjoy.
Pinkleaf Spa Gift Set
Rosemary may not be the first scent you think of when it comes to beauty products, but this spa gift set from Pinkleaf works remarkably well.
Comprising of three pieces – bubble bath, bath gel, and some body lotion – this set is both stimulating and relaxing at the same time and the addition of coconut oil ensures the skin is left soft and moisturized after use.
Rosemary oil has been said to increase feelings of wellbeing and enhanced mood states, so it’s no surprise that this set works wonderfully well when combined with the relaxing environment of the bathtub.
Packaged nicely in a gift box, each tube is also beautifully presented to round off the spa feel of the set. If you’re stuck for something to give, this gift set offers something a little different without veering into the realms of unusable.
Redecker Tampico Fiber Bath Brush
Okay, so this might be a bit of a strange gift to give, but if you’re shopping for someone who has a sense of humor it could prove to be the perfect present.
Although it may come across as a little jokey when it’s unwrapped on Christmas morning or at a work’s leaving party, the Redecker Tampico Fiber Bath Brush actually has a few benefits to it that go beyond the obvious getting-to-places-you-can’t-reach.
First of all, many skin care professionals advise us to use some sort of exfoliator when bathing or showering, and the cruelty-free tampico fiber bristles give you just the right amount of rubbing that’ll remove all that dead and dry skin without damaging or reddening it.
Furthermore, regular use of a bath brush is also thought to improve circulation and blood flow which, in turn, will help keep the skin and body healthy and youthful…and who doesn’t want that?!
So, if you’re stuck for something to buy, why not give the gift of younger looking skin…and have a good laugh about it in the process!
Bath Bomb Gift Set from Soothing Waters Spa
Another bath bomb set, this time it’s the turn of Soothing Waters Spa and their 6 bomb offering.
The first thing your recipient will notice when they open up this gift box is the size of the bath bombs…they’re huge! No golf ball size bombs here, these bad boys are billed as 10 minute fizzers! In fact, you could easily split these if you wanted to and get 12 baths from just the one gift box.
Size, as they say, isn’t everything, though, and thankfully this product also boasts all natural, organic, vegan ingredients, too, which deliver a beautifully luxurious creamy foam that works wonderfully well at giving the skin what it needs to stay healthy and hydrated, without leaving it feeling greasy.
Like the set Rejuvelle, these bath bombs are also made without unnecessary coloring, so your bathtub will stay the same color after use. For anyone who has experienced the annoyance of a dyed tub, this is undoubtedly a plus point!
Packaged in a recyclable box, this vegan bath bomb gift set makes a fantastic, inexpensive present at any time of the year.
Kneipp Herbal Bath Oil Gift Set
If the person you’re buying for is an olfactory aficionado, then this herbal bath oil gift set from Kneipp could be the perfect present for them.
Ten travel size bottles of the most gloriously scented bath oils make this an amazing gift for anyone who loves spending time in the tub and enjoys the experience more when a little something has been added to the water.
Not only will this set deliver in terms of stimulating your sense of smell, it’ll also help soothe your skin and hydrate its cells thanks to the high quality oils used.
The only real downside to this set is that the oils are colored, so be sure to warn your recipient when they open their gift. While the colors aren’t harsh, they are deep enough to transform the water’s hue and may stain older bathtub if you put too much in.
Thankfully, however, the quality of the oils and fragrances used mean that just a tiny amount is needed, and that makes this small, yet well-rounded set a gift that will last far longer than it would first appear.
DeLaine’s Exfoliating Body Scrubber
Another item that offers something a little bit different is DeLaine’s Exfoliating Body Scrubber, a pack of two natural hemp covered sponges that are designed to both exfoliate your skin as you wash and cut down on the amount of sponges you get through in the bathroom.
How do DeLaine’s Body Scrubbers achieve this? Well, being made from hemp, the outer casing is extremely durable and offers just the right amount of rub without over stimulating your skin and causing soreness.
The other bonus is that these little beauties can be easily refreshed by washing in a regular washer when you do your laundry, giving you a fresh sponge whenever you need one.
While this may not be the best standalone gift on our list, when paired with one of the other presents featured here these exfoliating body scrubbers are an excellent add-on if you’re looking to give the full bathtime experience.
Vegan beauty gifts
Finding the vegan in your life beauty gifts can be a minefield. What with ridiculously long ingredients lists and the concern over whether a product is truly ‘cruelty free’, it can be difficult to shop in your average drugstore.
Luckily, we’ve taken the hard work out of the equation and created this list of wonderful vegan beauty gifts so you don’t have to worry…
Kopari Coconut Kiss Kit
For the lipgloss lovers in your life, look no further than this neat little gift set from Kopari. Utilizing the moisturizing properties of coconut, these glosses are as nourishing as they are pretty. There’s also shea butter and vitamin E to keep your lips supple – perfect for the winter months when the weather takes its toll. With shade names like “Mai Tai”, “Hibiskiss” and “Pikini”, you’ll be transported to exotic shores and spoilt for choice when it comes to color choice.
The Kopari Coconut Kiss Kit also contains no GMO’s, is sulfate and paraben free – perfect for the conscious beauty consumer. The set could also be split into 3 and used as neat little stocking fillers or secret santa if you’re buying vegan Christmas gifts for several people.
Teadora Brazilian Glow Beauty Butter
The Teadora Brazilian Glow Beauty Butter is perfect for any skincare experts that you’re looking to buy a gift for. Made from a blend of 8 super-fruit oils, butters and extracts: acai, andiroba, babassu, brazil nut, buriti, guarana, murumuru and cupuacu, this rich butter will moisturize even the driest of skins.
Cruelty free, vegan, organic, fragrance-free, and made in the USA – this butter has it all and you can rest assured that its ingredients were ethically sourced straight from the Brazilian rainforest. The special blend uses caffeine to reduce puffiness, guarana for anti-aging, toning and the reduction of stretch marks and amino acids for superb hydration.
The product comes in two variants, Original and Unscented – so be sure to pick the unscented version if you’re buying for those with sensitive skin. This product is especially suited to those with drier or more mature skins – or those just looking for an intense moisture hit.
This product is sure to impress those with more luxurious beauty tastes.
Vegan Makeup Brush Kit with Portable Holder
Buying for the makeup lover can be difficult – especially when it comes to brushes. Glues, bristles, and cases can all contain animal derived products, making them unsuitable for a cruelty-free lifestyle. This pro brush set uses synthetic fibers and is 100% vegan – including the travel case.
The synthetic bristles are considered better than those derived from animals as they absorb less product – meaning your makeup lasts longer! As well as this, the sleek fibers allow for smooth application of makeup.
This set would be perfect for those beginning to grow their makeup collection as it’s a great starter set to build upon. It would also be a great gift for travellers as the neat carry-case will fit easily into luggage – and looks pretty darn good too!
BSDS Spa Gift Basket

And once they’ve used up the products? They’ll be left with a glamourous wooden jewellery box – it’s 2 presents in 1!
For those of us that love gift giving but hate wrapping, this set comes beautifully presented with a gold ribbon – taking the stress out of packaging this up for a luxurious gift. Give someone the gift of relaxation and a stress-free evening – right in their own home!
The Compassionate Chick’s Guide to DIY Beauty
Have someone in your life forever mixing lotions on potions in their kitchen? Well The Compassionate Chick’s Guide to DIY Beauty could be the perfect gift for the avid DIY beauty lover.

Check instagram or youtube these days and you’ll be swamped with videos of beauty gurus using face mists. These mists are multi use and have a wide range of benefits. From setting makeup to refreshing the skin during a long flight, they should be a part of everyone’s skincare arsenal.
This Sahara Mist from HYDRA BOTANICA combines a blend of squalane, rosehip seed oil, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera to provide hydration and moisturization for hours on end. It’s also one of those products that can truly be called “clean beauty”.
Vegan, cruelty free, and with a list of “does not contain” including alcohol, parabens, sulfates, silicones, mineral oil, gluten – you can feel good about gifting this earth and animal loving mist. This is a product for those with slightly more luxurious tastes – or for those weaning off more conventional brands.

Namaste Skin Unique Spa Gift Set
Combining spa products with specialist tools, you can give someone the gift of relaxation. This luxury spa gift set from Namaste Skin is brilliant value for money with 11 items in total – alongside a reusable presentation bag.

With all of those products, they’ll be able to pamper themselves from top to toe.
A pretty bow ties this whole gift together, making this a brilliant pre-packaged set for those who like to pamper themselves.
Aya Natural Face Moisturizer
Another moisturizer on the list – this time for the face rather than the body. The Aya Natural Face Moisturizer makes a lovely present for anyone worried about fine lines, dryness or tone.
According to Aya Natural, they believe that “if an ingredient cannot be eaten, it should never be used to treat the skin” – so you can rest assured that whoever is receiving the gift is getting the very best for their face.
So what makes this moisturizer special? Well, it’s vegan (of course), cruelty free, and packed with skin-loving ingredients. Olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and sweet almond oil combine in a luxurious blend especially suited to drier or more dehydrated skin types. Give the gift of smooth skin to someone special.
Plant-based soaps, body washes, shampoos, and deodorants
Popping into your local drugstore and picking up soaps, body washes, shampoos, and deodorants can be tough for plant-based practitioners. Many drugstore brands are neither cruelty free or v-friendly – meaning a classic Lynx gift set is out of the question when buying gifts for vegans!
The best way around this is to look for vegan and cruelty free brands – which are often boutique or independent sellers. Not only will you be supporting veganism, you’ll also be supporting independent brands – meaning you can buy with confidence, knowing you’re making an ethical choice.
Bodycare products often make a good gift because of the wide range of people that use them – from your brother to your granny and everyone in between, everyone needs to shower and bathe – making the gift of soap, body washes, shampoos, and deodorants a gift for all.
So, what are our picks? We’ve carefully selected a few of the best products on the market, from a variety of price points, so whatever your budget you can find something that suits.
Let’s take a look, shall we?

Rothvyn Weekender Travel Bag
Finding a stylish and durable travel bag isn’t always the easiest thing for a vegan – especially as lots of the materials often used in weekender bags (like leather) are obviously not vegan.
To keep things both rugged and effective, the Rothvyn Weekender Travel Bag utilizes both canvas and microfiber faux-leather for an elegant finish. For even more durability, the canvas is waxed to make the bag water resistant, too.
Most importantly, for air travellers, the weekender travel bag meets the carry on luggage requirements for most international airlines. It features multiple internal pockets to keep things organised and two external zippered pockets – perfect for all of those travel documents.
If you’re buying for someone concerned with style as much as substance, then you could do a lot worse than this wonderful weekender.

Sometimes, just gifting a travel guide can feel a little on the bland side. Not so with this great little book.
This equal parts travel guide, equal parts hilarious memoirs will be a gift that delights and informs in equal measure. Leafico Bamboo Toothbrush with Travel Case
Did you know that there is more than 250,000 tonnes of plastic floating in our oceans? If plastic pollution continues at this rate, by 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.
Unfortunately, conventional plastic toothbrushes can be a significant contributor to ocean waste and landfill. The solution? Bamboo! By gifting someone this Leafico Bamboo Toothbrush with Travel Case, you are contributing to sustainability and helping to save our planet.
Both the the bristles and handles are made from bamboo – but why is bamboo such a great material?
Well, it grows up to two feet per day – meaning that cutting it down to make products doesn’t contribute to mass deforestation like wood does. As well as this, it’s all completely biodegradable – meaning their brush needn’t end up in landfill.
Furthermore, the bristles of each brush are infused with charcoal, which has teeth cleaning and antimicrobial properties – leading to a fresher, cleaner smile.
Finally, each set comes with a travel case so they’ll never be without their earth friendly toothbrush!
Vegan on a Budget Travel Guide
Our final pick of travel guides has been specially selected because it covers how to travel (and eat) vegan on a budget.

A fun little read that is as entertaining as it is informative, this makes a great option for any vegan who struggles with the organisation that often goes hand in hand with budget trips.

To make things a whole lot easier for you, we’ve found the best possible gifts you can buy for a vegan runner – so that they can pound the pavements in style whilst remaining confident in their plant based lifestyle.
With this varied list of shoes, books, and accessories, you’re sure to find the perfect running gift in this section.
Eat and Run
The first book on the list is penned by Scott Jurek and documents his road to ultra-running greatness.
Part memoir, part cookbook, part self help guide, the book Eat and Run: My Unlikely Journey to Ultramarathon Greatness is an entertaining read for serious runners and offers up useful tips that any runner can use – whether they’re running marathons or jogging round the block.
In the book, Jurek opens up about his life and career as a plant based athlete and gives open and honest advice for runners of all levels. He talks about competing as well his transition from a meat and two veg family to veganism and ultra running.
An inspiring read, this will open up both their running horizons and their cooking and nutrition repertoire too.
Merrell Women’s Bare Access Flex E-mesh Sneaker
Decent footwear is an absolute must as a runner – preventing injury, supporting the foot, and improving performance are all things that can happen with the right running shoes.
Know someone still running in tired old Nikes or tennis shoes? Take a look at the Merrell Womens Bare Access Flex E-mesh Sneakers for a stylish sneaker upgrade.
Comprised of mesh and a 100% synthetic sole, you can rest assured that there are no animal derived ingredients here. Coming in with four colorways (we’re big fans of the en Vogue “millennial pink” and turquoise or the coral versions), there’s a style to suit everyone.
This type of shoe is definitely best for runners who prefer their shoes on the light and flexible side and may well be good for anyone transitioning to the “barefoot” style of running.
Any fashion conscious runner will be thrilled to open up these beauties as a gift!
The No Meat Athlete Cookbook
With the constant barrage of bodybuilders and athletes guzzling don whey-protein shakes, copious eggs, and tonnes of meat – you could be forgiven if you thought the words “vegan” and “athlete” belong nowhere near each other!

If the ladies option didn’t tickle your fancy, take a look at the Merrell Men’s Trail Glove 4 Runner.
Coming in with 14 different color choices, we’re not entirely sure how you’ll pick just one! Just like the ladies option, this is a lightweight and flexible sneaker. It’s a barefoot style shoe with a vibram sole for lightly cushioned performance and a sock-like fit.
The barefoot style offers up the most intuitive performance – there’s lots of anecdotal evidence that supports barefoot running, but running over rocks and on toughened paths probably requires at least a little bit of protection! Thats where these stylish shoes come in – all of the performance benefits with none of the scraped up feet!
Don’t want to take our word for it? Check out the online reviews before you buy and you’ll see that these sneakers are most definitely highly regarded.
Build and Fitness Running Belt
Phone? Check. Keys? Check?. Music player? Check. Bank card? Check.
Now… where to put them?
A common concern of your avid runner is just where to put their stuff on a run. Most leggings don’t have pockets and short pockets are often shallow – running the risk of the runner losing their stuff!
Fix that problem by gifting the Build and Fitness Running Belt.
The belt comes with an adjustable strap and clip so you can ensure its snug to the body – with no slippage, unlike armbands. This natty runner’s gift is lightweight but secure and the two internal pockets mean they’ll have plenty of room for all their bits and bobs.
There’s also a key holder clip attached to a bright yellow strap – for peace of mind and visibility in low light situations. Coming in with 5 different color options – you could pick one for every runner you know!
Finding Ultra
In our final choice for runners, we have this self penned book of self discovery by the marvellous Rich Roll.
Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself covers the remarkable true story of Rich himself. One night, before hitting forty and 50 pounds overweight, Rich saw the toll his sedentary lifestyle and diet was having on his body – and he woke up.
Prioritizing plant-based living and daily exercise, Rich morphed from couch potato to ultra endurance athlete in a matter of months. This riveting true story follows not only that epic transformation but follows Rich as he looks to compete in the Elite Ultraman competition – a feat of endurance involving running, biking and swimming.
If you’re looking for an inspiring and motivating gift then look no further than this amazing adventure. It is awesome!
Vegan yoga gifts
Yeah, we know. You mention veganism and suddenly everyone thinks you’re an enlightened yogi who spends more time in a downward dog than at a desk – and for a lot of us, that’s probably true!
The meditative and enlightened practice of yoga truly goes hand in hand with the ethical and plant-based living of a vegan lifestyle – giving you lots of fab gift options to choose from!
In this section, we’ll be covering everything from mats, bags, towels, socks, and cushions through to cookbooks and yoga guides. For the yogi just starting out, you could easily grab them anything off this list.
And for the experienced yogi? A new towel, mat, or bag will surely go down a treat.
Now, after us, say “Ommmm….”
Kindfolk Yoga Mat Bag Carrier

The socks have a “barefoot feeling” and are made from breathable cotton for dryness and absorbency and elastane for a second-skin fit. Wearing socks during practice is also important if anyone suffers from any fungal infections – or wants to avoid picking one up – and the Dubee Baby socks also have anti-bacterial properties to prevent you picking up or spreading any nasties.

The journal is not only a useful tool, but a warming and thoughtful keepsake for inner thoughts and love for animals.
The journal contains a nice balance of writing prompts and blank pages – to encourage creative thought – whilst the quotes and pictures help to set the mood of the book. Some of the topics include “optimum health” and “compassionate communication” – providing literal food for thought.
Most days include an “on your table” section so that your vegan recipient can track and talk about the compassionate food choices they have made that day, while the “in your life” sections are an opportunity to talk about everything else: What made them smile that day? Did they practice mindfulness? Have an in depth chat with a friend?
For keeping track and being mindful as a vegan, this journal is second to none.

So, if you’re interested in giving a gift that says more, read on for our rundown on the best wellness gifts you can give.
Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet
From helping with stressful situations to aiding with sleep, essential oils and fragrances have a plethora of health benefits. Unfortunately, it’s not always convenient to carry bottle of oil everywhere you go – which is where this nifty little bracelet comes in!
The Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet comes with a fashionable rose gold cuff with interchangeable faces – meaning your recipient can change the color to match their outfit each day. All they need to do to start smelling the benefits of essential oils is to drip 2-3 drops of oil into the bracelet face for a fragrance that will last for several hours.
The pads are also washable, as they are made from cotton, so they can change up their preferred fragrance whenever they wish. The set comes beautifully presented in a gift box – making this an effortless but impactful present.
Ora Organic Probiotic Capsules with Prebiotics
Did you know, taking a daily supplement of probiotics can be hugely beneficial to gut and overall health? Unfortunately, as vegans, finding a supplement that is dairy free can be tough – as lots of strains are grown using yoghurt. Luckily, Ora Organic Probiotic Capsules are 100% vegan – and gluten free.
Every capsule features 6 different strains of “good” bacteria and over 16 billion live cultures, and each serving can help to tackle bloating, improve digestion, aid the immune system and generally contribute to overall good health. These travel friendly capsules are also freeze dried to keep those bacteria alive and kicking – no matter where you go.
Though a supplement might seem like an odd gift, for any vegan concerned with health these little capsules provide an amazing boost. You may even be helping to give them a flat tummy at a time of year that most of us go up by a few belt notches!
HYDRO CELL Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Drinking plenty of water is a sure-fire way to keep yourself healthy and hydrated.
Out of convenience, though, we often grab our nearest brand of water which unfortunately comes in a plastic bottle. We all know the damage plastic is causing the environment, so isn’t it time to encourage your favorite water-guzzling vegan to go green with a reusable bottle?
The Hydro Cell Stainless Steel Water Bottle keeps liquids cool (or hot!) thanks to its double wall vacuum insulated design – meaning they never have to be without a nice cool drink of water. Nine color options means you’ll have a hard time picking their favorite – we’re big fans of the bright blue!
For those concerned, the bottle is also 100% BPA free – so no nasties lurking in the water.
14 PURE Essential Oils Set Variety Pack
Thinking about giving the oil diffuser bracelet listed above as a gift? Well, what about throwing in this set of 14 Pure Essential oils to round off your gift?
Containing eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, tea tree, lemongrass, ylang ylang, patchouli, clary sage, pine, bergamot, cedarwood, camphor, and frankincense, there should be a fragrance to suit every mood.
Each oil has its own therapeutic benefit. For example, lavender is good for insomnia, eucalyptus is a fantastic decongestant, and peppermint is brilliant for indigestion and IBS.
These oils are premium therapeutic grade, so you can rest easy knowing that you’re not purchasing cheap, watered down oils (a common problem in this marketplace).
There’s 10ml in each bottle – so that should leave you enough time between gifts to grab them another set before this one runs out!
Sleep Master Sleep Mask
If someone offered you the gift of a good night’s sleep, we can be certain you’d grab it with both hands!
A thoughtful gift for new parents, light sleepers, or frequent fliers the Sleep Master Sleep Mask helps to ensure a deep and restful nights sleep. Not only that, unlike the vast majority of other sleep masks on the market, this one is suitable for vegans. Its outer shell is 100% synthetic as opposed to the usual silk coverings found elsewhere.
Sleep master uses a thin, breathable material that is lightweight, flexible, and durable. Fastened via a velcro strap at the back, the ear area is padded to muffle sounds and the thick eye area blocks light out completely.
If you’re looking for something that can truly provide some restful relaxation, this mask is the one to give.
Cretoni Copperlin Pure Copper Water Bottle
You probably don’t think “beautiful” and “water bottle” belong in the same sentence – but that’s because you haven’t seen the Cretoni Copperlin Pure Copper Water Bottle before! Looking more like a piece of art that a drinking receptacle, this stunning water bottle is made from pure copper and features an attractive hammered surface.
According to Ayurveda practices, drinking from a copper bottle can lead to a whole host of health properties including: helping the digestive system, preventing water-borne diseases and regulating the thyroid. Each bottle comes with a protective lacquer coating to prevent oxidation and has a certified leak-proof design.
If you’re buying for someone that feels form is just as important as function, this stunning bottle will really show that you have impeccable taste!
OmniHome Essential Oil Diffuser
Want to ease into a restful sleep? Throw in some lavender oil. Trouble concentrating? Try rosemary! Unlike commercially sold candles, the OmniHome Essential Oil Diffuser relies on steam and pure essential oils to fragrance your home – so no petrol derivatives, or toxic fumes! And we all know that when your house smells good, you feel good, right?
If you’re buying for a fragrance lover, they’ll be thrilled with this – as there’s just so much variety when it comes to scents they can try. If they tire of individual fragrances, they can whip up their own blend to create an aroma just for them. In fact, this would pair brilliantly with the essential oil set featured above.
The humidifier has a capacity of 530ml and will run for 18 hours on the lowest mode – giving long lasting fragrance. For relaxation, it also has 7 color settings for tranquil light therapy.
We think this would be a brilliant addition to a yoga or meditation session – or even just alongside work or study.
