Nail Care

Eating a plant-based diet is a great way to start working on your nails from the inside out, but what about nail care products? As with so many other areas of the cosmetics industry, finding vegan nail care products that are also 100% cruelty-free can be difficult to say the least.

Lots of everyday items still include animal products or have been tested on our furry friends, neither of which are acceptable in the 21st century. While things are certainly changing for the better, we still have a long way to go before we see all cosmetics meeting the criteria we live our lives by.

With all that said, there are some fantastic products out there, but distinguishing between the good, the bad, and the downright ugly can be difficult at times. Leaping bunnies, V-sunflowers, and the like all help, but not all vegan products carry these symbols and reading the ingredients lists is both time-consuming and, frankly, dull.

So, in this section of HHV, we’re compiling articles that will help you look after your nails on a vegan diet. Let me know what you’d like to see here by dropping me a line. Are there any specific vegan nail care quandaries you’d like us to answer? Get in touch!
