Bathrooms may be small, but they can house a plethora of products, many of which, unfortunately, have either been tested on animals or contain them directly in one form or another. Not good.

Thankfully, however, the future is beginning to look a lot brighter. Many companies are producing ethical bathroom products that compassionate consumers can feel good about buying, which is great for us, but even better for the animals they save from harm.

There is, however, still a problem. While many of these animal-free bathroom products are clearly labelled and vegan and cruelty-free, not all of them are. Distinguishing between the good, the bad, and the downright ugly can often be tricky, and very few of us have the time or patience required to research each and every item we buy.

That’s where we come in. Here at Happy Happy Vegan, we recognize the fact that even those of us who choose to live ethically still have extremely busy lives, and that scouring ingredient lists on the back of shampoos, deodorants, toothpastes, and the like is about as interesting as watching plant-based paint dry, so we do the boring bits for you.

We’ve got reviews of common products found in the bathroom, as well as hints and tips to help you in store in the shape of our buyers guides. We’re not done yet, though, and we’d love to hear from you with your suggestions on what you’d like us to write about next. So, drop us a line and let us know!
