If ever there were a foodstuff that proves going plant-based doesn’t mean missing out, vegan cheesecake is it. This decadent dessert was once the preserve of dairy dabblers alone but things have changed, as these scrumptious recipes show.

The Glow Within is run by Lucie McAdams, who is an incredibly creative person who’s always generous in sharing her life with her blog readers. I’ve learned so much from her blog, and I feel like her recipes truly convey a sense of her joyous and sharing attitude. There’s no better way to celebrate a momentous birthday than with a healthful but delicious treat, and these delectable cheesecake bites certainly fit the bill.
Her bite-sized birthday cheesecake is inspired by the bright notes of lime and lemon, which are married together in a creamy cashew topping. With dates and coconut helping to bring together the deliciously nutty base, Lucie’s birthday cheesecake is a gift to us all. In fact, I plan on making these perfectly sized cheesecake bites for my next birthday bash!

Choosing Chia – Vegan Dragon Fruit Cheesecake
Choosing Chia, the brainchild of healthy lifestyle enthusiast Jess, has brought us an exotic, light and extremely flavorful raw vegan cheesecake recipe. Not only is Jess a creative maker of all things delicious, she also has a great eye for photography, too.
The beauty of these dragon fruit dessert bars took my breath away before I even had a chance to dash into my kitchen to whip these lovelies up. Vibrant pink swirls of dragon fruit crown a creamy layer, which sits atop a delicious, nutritious brownie base.
I simply could not believe that the tropical goodness of these bars were so easy to recreate in my own humble kitchen. Thank you, Jess!
The Movement Menu – Easy Vegan Raspberry Cheesecake
Monica, the founder of popular blog The Movement Menu, has created a raw vegan raspberry cheesecake that’s also paleo-friendly. How does she do it? Every time that I browse her blog, I’m always so excited to try her easy and healthful recipes.
This recipe is free of all refined sugars, but none of my friends guessed. Monica clearly knows how to satisfy a sweet tooth with her confections, and I loved the look of surprise on my friend’s faces when they found out how this sinful-tasting dessert is actually pretty nutrient dense. Keep ’em coming, Monica!

Le Petit Eats – Vegan Cookie Dough Cheesecake
Cookie dough and cheesecake combine for a mouthful of sweet delight in another of Le Petit Eats’ luscious and inventive blog posts. Le Petit Chef, also known as Denisse, is a professional chef and caterer, and boy do her skills shine through in her recipes.
After making these crazy-good cheesecake bars, I made sure to explore her blog even further. Spend enough time with Denisse, and you’ll be cooking like a pro in no time. She makes things so effortless.
In this recipe, tiny nuggets of vegan cookie dough nestle within a protein-packed cream filling, and a toothsome crust of pecans and maple syrup provide a pastry shell with magnitudes of rich flavor. Honestly, after devouring these heavenly bites, I think I’ve just settled my weekend plans for at least the next few weeks!
Bakerita – No-Bake Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
Bakerita’s vanilla bean cheesecake reminds me why I’m vegan, because there is absolutely no reason to consume dairy with tasty recipes like this. The Bakerita herself, Rachel, has an inspiring blog full of recipes that combine great flavor with easy-to-follow techniques, which is great for someone like me!
A walnut crust cradles a precious and delicately flavored vanilla “cream” filling. Rachel then dials up the luxuriousness of this dessert with a chocolate ganache, making this desert so rich that I couldn’t believe it is actually a healthful creation.
Coconut and cashews make this a dessert packed with proteins and healthy fats, too. It’s great to know something so satisfying can be so nutritious.

Pretty Pies – Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake
Pretty Pies, a real-foods and elevated cuisine site run by Emily, has been a favorite blog of mine throughout my fantastic vegan journey. As her strapline says, Emily’s recipes are so much more than just a pretty pie, because these culinary achievements are largely allergen-free and full of micro and macro nutrients. Great work, Emily!
For this recipe, a chocolate crust is tasked with supporting 2 creamy layers, one of peanut butter bliss and the other of silky smooth chocolate. Emily’s photographs look like something out of a food magazine, but her recipes are so well-written and approachable that I was able to reproduce her gorgeous results in my own kitchen. I know you’ll be able to, too.

Lazy Cat Kitchen – Vegan, Oil-Free Strawberry Cheesecake
Lazy Cat Kitchen allows founder Ania to show her innate love of animals via her remarkable vegan recipes, and this is one of my favorites. Packed with fresh strawberries, the vibrant hue of the cream filling is the first thing that wowed my friends who joined me for this delicious dessert.
After the first bite, no one had anything to say because we were too busy enjoying the creamy, just-sweet-enough flavor experience in front of us. Since this recipe is also oil and gluten-free, it’s a great dessert that you can indulge in without any guilt or discomfort. Go make yourself one now!

The Paleo Running Momma, Michele Rosen, has me running to my screen whenever she posts a new blog entry. Full of healthy living tips and fun recipes, this is one blog I bookmarked after my first visit.
After baking the cookie crust dough, I had a difficult time not nibbling it before adding the seductively smooth vanilla topping. Finished off with fluffy coconut whipped cream and an enticing chocolate glaze, this cheesecake had me at hello.

The Loopy Whisk – Chocolate and Mint Raw Vegan Cheesecake
Chocolate and mint are the perfect combination, and The Loopy Whisk creator, Kat, has concocted a magical recipe that is vegan, raw and gluten free. This PhD student of chemistry sure knows how to formulate some delicious treats, and I’m happy to be schooled by her in the kitchen.
Breaking from cheesecake tradition, the exquisite cream is snuggled into individual chocolate candy cups instead of atop a biscuit base. Eating these was like a mouthful of heaven, and I’m not ashamed to say I ate more of these than I shared. Don’t worry though, they were such a breeze to make that my friends will be getting their fair share soon enough.

A Virtual Vegan – New York Cheesecake
Classic and always sought after, the New York cheesecake recipe created by A Virtual Vegan’s host, Mel, brought the perfect East-Coast bite into my kitchen.
A biscuit-based crumb crust supports the sturdy cream filling that uses a couple of surprise ingredient to achieve the right texture – tahini paste and garbanzo beans. These components do a great job of producing the thick, firm and creamy composition that I expect from a true New York style cheesecake.
I was happy to see the variety of topping suggestions and recipes provided along with the recipe, and I know this is a highly versatile recipe that I will make regularly. I’m sure you will. too.
The Queen of Delicious – Raw Vegan Cheesecake
Veera, better known by her namesake given to her eponymous blog, The Queen of Delicious, has brought some bright yellow cheer into my life with her lemon cheesecake recipe. Lovely to look upon and even better to taste, this cheesecake was a showstopper when I recently brought it to a picnic.
Plenty of fresh lemon gives the filling vibrant and bright citrus flavor and aroma, while a small amount of vibrant yellow turmeric provides a cheerful hue that made me eat with my eyes before I even tasted the first bite. This sunny confection will be on file in my kitchen to add cheer to any dreary days that may be around the corner.
The Minimalist Baker – Easy 7 Ingredient Vegan Cheesecake
I’ve been a longtime follower of Dana’s blog, The Minimalist Baker, and I know she cooks to achieve maximum flavor. This recipe is easy to follow and uses common ingredients, so I whipped it up in no time.
I’m in love with the fact that it comes together in less than 30 minutes. I assembled it quickly, let it set for about an hour, and was soon on my way to cheesecake heaven! Insanely satisfying and a breeze to make, this recipe delivers the goods. Mini cheesecake bites like these are easy to munch on the go, too, so I love to share these with friends and families at gatherings and parties.
