Everyone loves to accessorize, but finding vegan fashion accessories can often leave one feeling weary. Whether it’s bags or belts, gloves or scarves, seeking out stylish additions to your accessory wardrobe can be a challenge.

In this part of our site, our aim is to make your life a little easier. We’re putting together articles that will highlight vegan fashion accessory brands and products so you don’t have to spend precious hours searching the ‘net for the right cruelty-free item.

So, what makes a vegan fashion accessory? Basically (and, some would say, obviously), to truly be deemed vegan any item needs to free from animal-derived materials. Clearly this includes the likes of leather, wool, silk, fur, feathers, etc. but it can go a lot deeper than that. For example, did you know that many dyes and glues used in the fashion industry are animal-based? If you didn’t, you’re not alone. Many an unsuspecting vegan has falling foul of this almost invisible problem.

Thankfully, things are getting better all the time. There are now lots of vegan accessories available, but finding them can still be tricky…which is where we come in.
